Athletic-Physique Sport Model

Women

Sport model events bring a new level of femininity to female sport which celebrates ‘female models with muscles’. As such, this category will appeal to women, who are looking to compete in a category that emphasizes tone and shape rather then muscle mass, and enjoy the excitement of pageantry in sport.

In this category, judges are not looking for the musculature of a bodybuilder, or the hardness of an athletic-physique challenge (figure) competitor, nor the low body fat level of a marathon runner. Rather, competitors should have a balanced physique—a physique that could be achieved from leading a healthy lifestyle and engaging in a range of physical activities (ie. cross-training).

The winner of the INBA Canada Ms. Athletic-Physique title should project the “ideal image” of a healthy, fit and beautiful female. See sample photos below. (click to enlarge)

Category Overview

The INBA Canada Athletic-Physique Model Search is offered to both male and female competitors.  The winners of the male and female category will each win a professional photo shoot, carry the title as Mr. and Ms. INBA Canada’s Model of the Year, and will be profiled in future promotions.

Competitors of this category are provided with the opportunity to compete in three different rounds:  Sports Attire, Swim Suit, and Formal Wear.   Each round is designed to be distinctively different which provides competitors with the challenge and opportunity to present their unique style and physique in three different ways.

The Sports Attire Round is the most casual and requires competitors to project an energetic day-time appearance of health.  The Swim Suit Round provides competitors with the chance to display their dynamic physiques in the swimwear of their choice.  And the final round, the Formal Wear Round, presents competitors with the opportunity to show-off their most glamorous look – this is the time of sequins, platform shoes and tuxedos!
